PRE–MEDITATED FUTURE

Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP)

For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

Most plans are made with earnest expectation to be fulfilled. The plan can be for good or for evil.

Plan defined:

• A method of doing something that is worked out in advance.

Plans are most generally pre-meditated, something that has been thought out. Even when people plot to do harm to others it is conceived from something they have been meditating on. People make plans to cheat, steal, commit adultery, kill and perform various kinds of ill will. But on the other hand people maKe plans to help, protect, build, encourage and cultivate, bringing blessing and increase to many.

The scripture above reveals to us that God has a plan for our lives and that He has been thinking or meditating on them. God never haphazardly does anything He is very focused and direct in His operations. The plans that God has for your life were not just something He thought of on the spur of the moment. God knows every detail and specific part of His plan for you. God’s plans are good and not evil, they are for peace.

So make every effort to press in and pursue with passion the plans and purposes God has for you. You will never regret the final outcome!

Proverbs 15:4

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

Integrity defined

• The quality of possessing and steadfastly adhering to high moral principles or professional standards.

Boundaries are established through integrity. If a person’s word is no good then the boundaries and standards they set up in their lives will always be compromised. Sometimes we fail to see the long term problems that come with not keeping our word even to ourselves. We tell ourselves we are not going to do such and such or that we are not going to go here or there and before the sun sets we have compromise or faltered on what we have spoken. We reason that it is okay because it was a personal promise and did not involve anyone else but little do we realize we our establishing a pattern of mistrust and lying to ourselves and eventually others.

Christians should be people of their word regardless of who the word was spoken to.

The scripture above states that we should be willing to keep our word even if it hurts. Temporary inconveniences are a small thing compared to the consequences of a broken promise. When we likely esteem our own words we devalue the importance of words thereby opening the door to deception. Words are very important. We must remember the power of life and death are in our words. Lets us all endeavor to come up a little higher in our integrity by keeping our word even if it is to our own hurt. If you don’t plan on doing it then don’t say it.

HAVE YOU HEARD

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Now also we would not have you ignorant, brethren, about those who fall asleep in death, that you may not grieve [for them] as the rest do who have no hope [beyond the grave].

For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him through Jesus those who have fallen asleep in death].

For this we declare to you by the Lord’s [own] word, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall in no way precede [into His presence] or have any advantage at all over those who have previously fallen asleep [in Him in death]. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first. Then we, the living ones who remain [on the earth], shall simultaneously be caught up along with [the resurrected dead] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always (through the eternity of the eternities) we shall be with the Lord! Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words.

Have you heard? Are you even aware, that Jesus could come today? He is coming again to usher in the end. The Lord is faithful to His word like He promised. He’s no Peter or doubting Thomas. He will come in an unknown hour full of Glory and power. He will rapture up His church. Will you be prepared to meet Him in the air and reign with Him forever. Well if you are, know that He’s not far from coming for His bride. Be encourage, stay hot, He’s coming, He coming, He’s coming!

THE MASTER HAS NEED OF YOU

Mark 11:1-3

And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him. And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.

I want you to see this picture in your mind, there sat a colt tied probably to a tree or something strong enough to keep it from getting away. There was probably nothing special about the way he looked, the color of his hair, the shape of his body, the way he walked, he was just a normal, average everyday colt, ………to the untrained eye. However, Jesus knew he was there, Jesus knew that colt had a divine purpose. That colt had a part to play in God’s plan and no part of His plan, not even the smallest detail is insignificant to God. That colt was getting ready to fulfill destiny. He was getting ready to walk into what he was born for. The scripture said no one had ever even sat on this colt, Glory to God! He was just sitting there all tied up until Jesus spoke and said loose him and bring him to Me. Without God’s voice life is meaningless and mundane, it is fruitless and stagnant, it is wasteful and dry. That kind of reminds me of our lives before we were born again, there we sat in darkness all tied up until Jesus called our name and set our Divine Destiny into motion. He called us out of darkness into the marvelous light; He established our going and gave us understanding of our purpose. Jesus made it plain, He said if any man say unto you, “why do ye this?” say the Lord hath need of him. Did you not know that when God calls you unto Himself, He has need of you. You were not called into the Kingdom of God just to sit and look pretty/handsome; the Lord hath need of you. God needs the gifts and anointings He has put inside of you for the fulfillment of His plan. You are vital and strategically placed in the body of Christ; you have a part to play, you have been loosed for the Masters use. God knows the treasure that He has placed inside of you and He wants it to be in full operation for all to profit.

Many time people don’t benefit from others gifts and talents because they are too busy looking at the outward man. They don’t value the treasure God has placed in each and every one of His children therefore they forfeit the blessings that person’s gift could have added to their life. Jesus valued the colts God given assignment and loosed him to fulfill it.

Competitive jealousy and fleshly comparisons bring division and destruction to what could have been a wonderful union of divine relationships. Divine relationships always bring an element of, “I have need of you and you have need of me.” There is a peaceful understanding that God brought us together to help one another fulfill His will. I like something that Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:6-8, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.”

The rope that use to keep you tied to the fence of “I can’t” is broken; you have been loosed by God to fulfill His purpose. So jump to it, you can do it, in Christ Jesus. Remember the Master have need of YOU!

WHAT NOT TO WEAR

Romans 13:14

  • But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

There are certain things Christian’s should not wear. We must dress for success. I am speaking of our spiritual garments not a dress you buy at Macy’s.

We must dress everyday for victory. The scripture says, “Put on the Lord Jesus”. Everything Jesus represents and is should be in and on us.

We must on purpose strip off wrong, harmful attitudes and behaviors. We must refuse to wear the garment of division and strife. We must never enter the store of worldly lust with the intent to buy or sell. We must never borrow clothes of offense.

In the fashion world, some colors or patterns don’t match. We cannot wear some garments of the flesh and some of the spirit, they clash.

Before you leave the house, look in the spiritual mirror, the Bible. The Bible is our perfect standard and guide book for, WHAT NOT TO WEAR.

Put on love, gentleness, self-control, peace, and joy. Slip on the sweater on faithfulness. Put on your hat of truth.

Look at you… you’re looking good now!

Walk with confidence, you’ve got the look.

If you are fashion illiterate, seek help today. The Holy Spirit is our wonderful faithful counselor.

There is no limit to your account, so go ahead splurge, God’s got the tab.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS

Psalms 62:5

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

Expectation defined:

• A confident belief or strong hope that a particular event will happen.

When a young woman is pregnant many will use the term, “she is expecting,” in reference to the upcoming delivery of her child. Due to the level of intimacy of the couple, a child was conceived and now others, including the couple are patiently waiting on the arrival of the child. They are all confident that this baby will arrive at the expected time. Expectations are generally conceived from information, good or bad.

The woman with the issue of blood in the Bible had an expectation that she would be healed upon touching the hem of Jesus’ garment. What was it that fueled her confident belief? The women had been given information about Jesus and what He could do. This knowledge of God produced the necessary faith or belief that she could receive her miracle.

What you hear or listen to on a daily basis can be the catalyst to your expectations in life. Do you expect good to come your way today or are you looking for evil things to plague your day? Do you see yourself as a failure or as more than a conqueror? Do you expect people to show you favor or do you expect people to dislike you? Psalms 62:5 reminded us how to expect great things in life. The Psalmist said, “My soul wait thou only upon God…” When we spend time in God’s presence and in His Word we will receive the right information that produces right expectations. When we choose to wait on God, His Words will produce the confident trust we need to obtain the desired results.

Misinformation or incomplete information can produce frustration and disappointment. A person maybe disappointed with God, thinking He did not produce or come through in a situation like they expected He would. Well, first of all, check out who gave you the information by which you have established your expectations. Was your expectation produced from what you read in the Bible or was it misquoted or misinterpreted hear -say of something somebody thought God said? The scriptures instruct us to study to show ourselves approved; we should not be rooting our confidence in he said/ she said conversations. Disappointment can destroy confidence and cause a person to draw back from God. Before you put high stakes in what somebody told you, search the scriptures for yourself and know the truth, through personal intimacy and fellowship with God. What is conceived in you through personal intimacy with God will produce GREAT EXPECTATIONS, which will soon deliver GREAT RESULTS.

Numbers 23:19, God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

H.E.L.P.

H.E.L.P. (Heaven Extravagantly Loving People)

Hebrews 4:15-16

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Help defined:

  • to make it easier or possible for somebody to do something that one person cannot do alone by providing assistance
  • to provide somebody with advice, directions, or other information

Have you ever been tempted to give up on something you had previously set your heart to fully accomplish? Have you ever drawn back from your purpose? Have you ever been under pressure and felt overwhelmed by the circumstances facing you? Well, if your answer to any of the above questions was yes, you are not the only one who has been at the boiling point of a temptation, test or trial.

The scripture says, Jesus also was tempted in all points yet without sin. How did Jesus overcome every temptation, I believe it was because He had help. Jesus lived a life here on the earth in close fellowship and union with his Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, “…yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.”

You are not alone, God is with you and He is for you. You have every available help in every situation. Love will never abandon you.

The scripture says to come boldly, meaning with confidence and deep assurance. Know that God will not reject your request for His help. He longs and waits to help His children but we must be willing to ask. Don’t let pride and the “I can do it by myself syndrome” block the true help you need. There are heavenly resources available to you right now! Our Heavenly Father is an extravagant giver. He is extreme when it comes to blessing His children. He will not scold you for asking for His help, it is His delight when you come to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need.

So go ahead and approach the throne, Heaven is waiting to pour extravagant love on you now. Help is on the way today!

THE AUTHORITY OF LOVE

Authority defined:

  • the right or power to enforce rules or give orders.

The Love of God is God. Therefore, Love has all power. Nothing is more powerful than the Love of God. Love has the right to enforce the rules of the kingdom of God in a Christian’s life. Love has a right to give orders. In any kingdom there may be different levels of authority but the ultimate or highest authority belongs to the KING.

The authority of Love has the right to over throw and rule, anything and everything that is legally subject to it. Jesus declared in Matthew 28:18, “Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.”

Notice Jesus did not say some authority but rather, ALL AUTHORITY was given unto Him, in heaven and in earth. That authority was legally given to Him by God the Father, who is the only one that can delegate that kind of authority. After receiving all authority Jesus then delegates authority in His name to believers. Jesus demonstrated through His life here on the earth how to appropriate and operate in the authority of Love.

Love enforced the rules of the kingdom of God over nature, commanding peace and demanding calm. The sea, winds and waves obeyed.

Love enforced the rules of the kingdom over death, commanding life and people were raised from the dead.

Love enforced the rules of the kingdom of God over sickness and disease and bodies and minds were healed and restored.

Love enforced the rules of the kingdom of God over lack and increase began to flow, feeding multitudes.

Love enforced the rules of the Kingdom of God over bondages and addictions and many captives were set free.

The scriptures teach us that we should be imitators of God. We should in other words act like He acts; do what He does, and say what He says.

According to Romans 5:5, the Love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. This being the case, we now too as believers have been given the legal authority to demonstrate and enforce the rules of the Kingdom of God.

You now have the right to cast out fear because you have been given the authority of Love. You now have a right to enforce health in your body. You now have a right to command freedom from depression and oppression. You now have a right to command nature and storms must obey you. You now have a right to do everything that Jesus did as a man anointed by God.

The authority of Love heals, builds and then reveals the glory of God. The authority of Love is in you right now, child of God, release its power, you have a right to do so. Permission granted…… by God!

BLESSED ARE THE PEACE-MAKERS

Matthew 5:9

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Are you a peace-maker?

It is necessary to possess peace in order to be a peace-maker. However, everyone who possesses peace is not an active peace-maker. By that I mean, a peace –maker is someone who is actively involved in keeping peace. They go out of their way to insure peace is achieved and maintained.

Many situations in life we could just sit over in a corner, quietly minding our own business while chaos and confusion abound. We sit there reasoning and excusing within ourselves saying, “Well that’s none of my business.” As a Christian we have an advantage in every situation in life because we have the greater one, the Holy Spirit, living on the inside of us. Being a peace-maker may not always involve you standing up in the middle of a fight and physically prying two people apart, like an umpire. Your part maybe to pray for all parties involved. The Holy Spirit is your Helper, commune with Him and find out what He would have you do in every circumstance and situation. Our part is to be mindful that as Christians we are the only true peace-makers the world will ever see. God is counting on us to be available to Him; so that He can continue to show forth His love to all.

BE NOT DECEIVED

Galatians 6:7-8

Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap.

For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

 Deceived defined:

• To mislead or deliberately hide the truth from somebody

• To convince yourself of something that is not true

The worst kind of deception is self deception. The scripture warns us not to be deceived because God is not mocked. If we live a life of pretense we will reap the results.

It is deception to think you will receive things only obtained by faith, yet you don’t live a life governed by faith. It is deception to think you will receive the benefits of prayer when you never spend time with God. To pretend that you are doing something and you really aren’t is insanity. Many times people try to pretend they are people of prayer but the only time they pray is when they are around other people of prayer. They live a life of mere outward show and lip service. We must be honest with ourselves and examine our lives and motives before we are caught holding the bag of pretense. If we are true to our own heart we will examine our lives and make the necessary adjustments and begin to live a life untainted by deception.
