Prayer is the Divine Appointment that Births Victory

John 16:23-24

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Prayer is simply communicating with God. It is having living contact with our Maker. Communication is a form of contact and interaction. Contact is an element of intimacy. Words similar to intimacy are: familiarity, nearness, relationship and inseparability. Now there are different levels and facets of intimacy. We all would probably agree that words have major part to play in intimate relationships. Words have the ability to impregnate the spirit, soul and body of man thus influencing all realms. Words are seeds that produce for good or evil. When someone’s words make contact with the soil of your heart, those words will bring forth a harvest unless they are up rooted. It is important that we be selective in who we allow to be intimate partners of communication in our lives because our heart has rich nutritious soil that will produce heartily what we allow to flow into it. The scriptures declare, “Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.” (Hebrews 4:23 AMP.)

Intimacy with God produces rich abundant life. Whenever we have been impregnated with words from God they will produce great things. You cannot spend quality intimate time with God and come away barren. Whatever you need, if its direction, correction, healings, deliverance, victory, battle strategies, no matter what you ask (which is prayer) according to His will He will do it (1John 5:14-15). Intimacy with God is vital for life success, without Him we can do nothing. Intimacy means contact was made because sometimes people show up but they don’t make a connection. They never seek God with their heart; they never draw near to Him from their spirit. When Jesus was on the earth many people thronged or pressed upon Him and yet they received nothing from Him even though they were near. They had no faith in God they just showed up to be a spectator.

We must purpose to press in and make contact. Now don’t misunderstand me I am not saying it is a work of the flesh or hard labor kind of press. We cannot labor in our own natural ability or strength to draw near to God. No the press is pulling away from everything that will distract you and focusing on Christ. We must seek Him with our whole heart and attention. Turn off that TV, radio, and internet and spend quality time with Him. It you are married and you want to be intimate with your spouse they would be very upset if you tried to be intimate with them and watch your favorite TV show at the same time. It just does work like that, does it? True intimacy bears fruit, producing evidence in your future that true contact was made.

Shine On

Proverbs 4:18

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

There is pure light that shines n every born-again child of God’s path. That light is not tainted with the impurities and corruptions of this world. The light that God shines on our path is pure and holy. We have been given light all the days of our life. This light will not grow dim but it shines brighter and brighter. We must focus where the light leads us and not look at the darkness all around. The light will keep us sound and rooted and grounded in the things of God and His Kingdom. This marvelous light is with us 24/7 so that we have noe need of artificial or man made light. Man mad elight does not have power over darkness. Man made light has no redeptive revelation. Man made light can not lead and guide you into all truth. Man made light is artificial. So stay in the true light and let it brighten you path every day more and more until we see Jesus, the Light of the World, face to face.

The Lord That Healeth Thee

Exodus 15:26

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

God is our true healer. There are many artificial healing remedies but none can compare to the true healing power of God. God said, “I am the Lord that healeth thee.” There is no other healer He is the one and only. It does not matter the sickness or disease, He is the Healer. It doesn’t matter how long it’s been there He is the Healer. It doesn’t matter if it has been said to be incurable, He is still the Healer. God is not intimidated by diagnosis, favorable or unfavorable. He is not caught off guard by abnormal test results, He is the Healer. He never changes no matter the circumstances, even if they say it is life threatening, He is still the Healer. When God revealed Himself to us as Healer, He meant what He said. God doesn’t change His words every other day depending on the conditions at hand. God is our Healer.

He provides healing for our spirit, soul and body!

Whatever situation you or your loved one maybe facing today, know and only believe that God is still our Healer………Jehovah Rapha: Rophe (The Lord thy Physician or the Lord that keepeth thee well!

Prepared for You

1Corinthians 2:9-10

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Prepare defined :

made at an earlier time for later use : made ready in advance. : ready for something : in a suitable condition for some purpose or activity.

Do you love God? If your answer is yes, I have good news for you. God has things He has prepared just for you. And God has already told you about them. Your spirit already has insight and divine knowledge of your destiny. And the way He has revealed them to us is by His Spirit, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit reveals to us things God has prepared for us. Notice the scripture says the things which God hath prepared, meaning it already has been done. He also said God hath revealed them unto us, meaning He has already uncovered them to our spirit. The word reveal means; to disclose something that was unknown or secret. Listen, God is not withholding or hiding His purpose for your life from you. Your future in Christ is not a secret. Unclutter your mind and free it from anxieties and fear through the refreshing rain poured out in your daily communion in God’s Word, and you will soon rediscover a greater flow of what you already know flooding back into your soul, reigniting a zeal and passion for your God given purpose. So away with the thought, “I don’t know” and get ready to go and do, follow through, with what the Hoy Spirit has revealed to you.

Don’t Let the Night Fall on Your Day

We must work the works of Him Who sent Me and be busy with His business while it is daylight; night is coming on, when no man can work. John 9:4

It’s so good to see dawn breaking forth to usher in a new day. Daylight brings with it the sense of newness. New beginnings, new start, new opportunities, new strength, new ideas, new focus, new hope, new thoughts, new purpose, new mercy, new perspective, new passion, new vision, new genesis.

It’s a new day and new blessings are coming my way!

Jesus said, in the scripture reference above, that day provided an opportunity for us to work. An opportunity that we no longer possessed when the night came. He said we must work while it is day, meaning, this opening of time would not always be available for us. This scripture reminds us that something’s are under time restraint. If we walk away from our work today with an attitude of “I will get to that tomorrow,” we may be surprised to find out that while we hesitated and procrastinated the night came. The window of opportunity open to you today may not be available tomorrow.

Daylight is synonymous with vision or sight. Daylight has a certain positive ambience about it. It provides a true picture of what’s before us. When light is available we can work more proficient and efficient on the task at hand. God created the light and commissioned it to break forth in the midst of darkness. He needed light to be available while He worked on the rest of creation. God worked in the light, creating all manner of good things for His glory!

Work implies effort.

Work defined:

  • Activity in which one exerts strength or faculties to do or perform something.

Jesus instructed us that we cannot work in the night but only in the day. Our efforts are only effective when we exert them according to His will and His way. Whatever God has called you to do you must remember to do it while it is still day. Don’t let the Night fall on your Day. Don’t let the night breakthrough and have its way. You are the light shining bright, don’t let the night leap forward and block you way. There is much work in the Kingdom still needing to be done let’s recognize the time we have been allotted and work while the light is still on!

The Mystery of Godliness

1Timothy 3:16

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

To be excited about this verse of scripture you must first have some revelation in the knowledge of God. This scripture reveals to us that God was manifest in the flesh. Oh, what joy and gratitude that scripture stirs within my heart. God was manifest in the flesh, Hallelujah!

Do we realize what an awesome wonder that was? God, the creator of all things came to earth and manifest Himself to His creation. Oh what a joy to think on. The Alpha and the Omega, the great I AM,God Himself standing in our midst, oh what an awesome privilege.

When we take time to meditate on the wonders of His person and allow God through His word and by His Spirit to reveal greater dimensions and depths of Himself to us our hearts will leap for joy in remembrance of what He has done and continues to do for us.

Philippians 3:8

Yes, furthermore, I count everything as loss compared to the possession of the priceless privilege (the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage) of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord and of progressively becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him [of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly]. For His sake I have lost everything and consider it all to be mere rubbish (refuse, dregs), in order that I may win (gain) Christ (the Anointed One).

Praise God!

God is worthy of our praise! Why would anybody not want to praise such a good God as our God. God is so wonderful. He is so giving. Our God is Love. He is always wanting to bless, heal and deliver all who will come to Him. He is so forgiving, always ready to forgive anyone. Never let the devil deceive you into thinking that God is against you or that God is mean or an angry God. God so loved the world that He gave us Jesus to save us and the Holy Ghost to comfort us. God has has promised to never leave us or forsake us, never, ever. He is such a wonderful Father. He is indeed worthy of our praise!

Psalms 150

Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Amazing Wonders

Psalms 107:31

Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

My husband and I went on a mini-vacation at Virginia Beach, Va. We had such a wonderful relaxing time. The Atlantic Ocean was a wonder to behold, such beauty and force, the amazing work of God’s own hand. I so loved just gazing at the ocean seeing it’s gentle beauty and yet hearing it’s powerful voice. One cannot look into the face of such an enormous body of water and say there is no God. The ocean’s obedience to its creator to stay within its banks, speaks volumes to the authority of God over His creation. Oh that men would praise the Lord for His wonderful works to the children of men.

And know this,God has created all these things for His children to richly enjoy!

Many years ago we were going on a family summer vacation with our two daughters Tiffany and Faith. This particular vacation we were headed to Colorado. I was particularly excited because I had never seen the mountains in Colorado; actually I never recalled seeing any mountains in my entire life here on the earth. The night before the trip I was up just spending time talking with the Lord as I would often do when my girls were young. I enjoyed staying up after everyone was asleep, praying and fellowshipping with the Lord. Well, this particular night the Lord spoke the words, “Amazing Wonders” to me. I knew immediately He was speaking in reference to our trip the next day, so now I was really excited to get to Colorado. I remember all the way to Colorado I kept meditating on those two words, “Amazing Wonders.” So I asked the Lord what specifically about this trip was He referring to and He reminded me of the many verses of scripture in Psalms 107 that speak of men praising Him for His wonderful works to us His children. He wanted me to behold some of these great wonders.

Now, much more excited than before, I kept a steady gaze toward the horizon as we approached Denver Colorado. I think I was expecting these big mountains to just pop out at me. I would occasional ask my husband, “Do you see them yet?” As we traveled further on pass Denver my husband finally said, “Oh there they are in the distance, over there those black peaks.” Well I was somewhat disappointed at my first glance, I thought, “that looks like a little hill not a gigantic mountain.” I thought to myself, “is that it.”

However, as soon as I thought that, the phrase, Amazing Wonders, came to my mind again. So I decided to sit tight and patiently wait  to see what the Lord had in store to show me.

Oh my, when we finally got to the mountains, I can truly say they were indeed amazing. God showed me such amazing things on that vacation, great wonders crafted by His own hands. I shall never forget the beautiful things my eyes did behold.

God should ever be praise for the wonderful works of His hands. He is and will always be the Master Craftsman.

Psalms 111:4

He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

Before You Go

Before you go, ask someone if they know Jesus.

Before you go, light up this dark world with Holy Ghost power.

Before you go, show the devil who his boss is.

Before you go, be the best you that God created you to be.

Before you go, let this world know that God is God.

Before you go, give bread to the hungry and water to the thirsty.

Before you go, give a big hug and extra love to your enemies.

Before you go, praise the Lord with everything that is in you.

Before you go, go a little further and press a little harder to reach the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ for your life.

Before you go, take the bow and shoot the arrow of destiny right in the bulls-eye.

Before you go, be a bold witness for Christ.

Before you go, let someone in the world experience the healing virtue of God flow through your hands.

Before you go, let the world know the love of God never fails.

Before you go, finish the race that God entrusted to you.

Before you go, tell someone you know that Jesus Christ died for their sins and rose again the third day so that they could have life and life more abundantly.

Before you go, tell someone that Jesus loves them unconditionally.

Before you go, go after that God given dream, pursue and fulfill that God given vision.

Before you go, encourage those you pass on life’s highway.

Before you go, let someone know they can make with the Lord.

Before you go, let your faith go into the uttermost parts of the world and subdue the kingdoms of darkness.

Before you go, let the whole world know there is no one like our God.

2 Timothy 4:6-8

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

God’s Armed Forces

2 Timothy 2:3-4

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Paul admonished Timothy to be a good soldier of Christ. The word “good” in that verse implies “beautiful to look at, shapely, magnificent, good, excellent in its nature and characteristics, and therefore well adapted to its ends, genuine, approved.”

I believe Paul was saying that when you go through hard trials, your outward appearance and inward character should stay the same. You should remain stately like a king or queen and no one should be able to see stress on your face and mood swings in your attitudes. In this life we will have tests, trials and troubles come our way, but we don’t have to allow the troubles to trouble us. We are soldiers and we must endure tough times.

The word endures means “to experience exertion, pain, or hardship without giving up.” God never promised that we would not feel the affects of the storms. However, He did promise that they would not harm us though.

When you are in the military or armed forces, you are trained for combat. Soldiers have uniforms on that represent their country and when they enter enemy territory they become marked men, easily standing out to the enemy. When you are in military service, it is not unusual for your enemy to randomly shoot at you, throw things at you, spit on you and try to harass and defeat you on every hand. When people are in the armed forces they go through a different type of hardship because they are a definite threat to the enemy. They have been trained to destroy the enemy. If anyone can overthrow and demolish the enemy’s camp, it is the armed forces. They are equipped to win. They are trained fighters. They are master strategists at warfare. They are armed and dangerous and the enemy knows it so he does everything he can to impede, slow down, hinder, discourage, detour, weaken, harass, shipwreck, evade, kill, steal and destroy these special forces. However we must endure hardness, we are equipped to win!
