In Step and On Time

In the book of Genesis 3:8-11

And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

God knew where Adam was so He was not asking Adam that question for His own personal knowledge and understanding, no, God was asking Adam the question so that Adam could recognize and know where he was. Adam was lost, he was in a place spiritually that he had never been in before, he didn’t know where he was because he had never seen this kind of darkness before. He didn’t know where he was and certainly he did not know where he was going.

Adam where art thou……………I believe God was speaking to Adam of a spiritual condition rather than a physical place. Adam was no longer on the Godly road of success. He had chosen a different course, another road, the selfish way. He choose to do his own thing and now he would have to reap the consequences.

The bible tells us in Galatians 6:7

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Choices have consequences for good and for evil.

Because of Adams choice He no longer had position and dominion. He was stripped of his divine location and now we find him on a different destination, a hard and dangerous course, one that was not ordained by God. This was not the course nor was it the journey that God prepared for Adam and Eve. God wanted them to enjoy the good life that he had already prepared and made ready for them to live. God loved them and He had a far more superior life picked out for them. They lost their way because they didn’t want to obey.

God has a path and a course prepared for you.

Ephesians 2:10 declares,

For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), [a]recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. AMPLIFIED VERSION.

Wow, that’s worth seeking God for!

But you know many times people miss out on the plans and purposes that God has for their lives because of wrong information and words spoken to them or around them that destroy and abort divine destinations. So we want to help you get rid of all those poisonous death darts so that you can receive the right information through impartation of the Word of God. Jesus said in John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the words I have spoken unto you.

It’s time to clean house so that God can build and plant new things that will help your life flourish and grow, so that you can be in step and on time with your God given destiny.

Authentic

To be authentic is to be real, valid, bona fide, true, reliable, and dependable as opposed to fake or counterfeit. Jesus said:

John 15:1-3

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you

Jesus let us know through His teachings and demonstrated by outward display of works that He was the real not a phony or a want to be. When you are authentic your life will bear fruit of the trueness of your words.

John 14:11 (amp)

Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me; or else believe Me for the sake of the [very] works themselves. [If you cannot trust Me, at least let these works that I do in My Father’s name convince you.]

Jesus was indeed who He said He was regardless if anybody believed Him or not. The proof of who He was was not based on the opinions of others but rather the life He lived. His life consistently mirrored the scriptures that prophesied of Him and the union He had with the Father. If God is in you then everything you do and say should be proof that He lives there. The book of Revelations declares that there would be those who had a name that they lived but yet were dead. (Revelations 3:1)

To be phony is to give a false impression, to make something appear to be genuine when it is not. It also can be putting on a false show of something such as sincerity or expertise.

A phony can only be detected when you know the real and genuine. Refusing to become familiar with the true can make you vulnerable to the fake. Take time to cultivate in your life the knowledge and ways of the True Vine and you will never be deceived by the counterfeit vine.

A Promise Kept

God is a promise keeper. Whenever He says He will do a thing you best know He will come through and do what He said He will do. God is a covenant keeper. The word covenant means a solemn agreement that is binding on all parties. God will never forsake or negate His word but will always fulfill His part.

The bible declares in 2Timothy 3:1-5, that people would become lovers of themselves in the last days. Selfishness is the root of covenant breaking. When we see alerting divorce rates soaring high, this is a resort of selfishness. Selfishness is a work of the flesh, the lower sinful nature of man. The nature of sin was passed down to all man-kind from Adam after he was separated from God. The nature of sin was born out of hatred and evil, its father is Satan.

When we are born-again into the family of God, God gives us a new nature, the nature of Love. God is Love. The scripture says whatever is born of God overcomes the world. When we are living a life of love, there is no room in our heart for selfishness.

To be a covenant keeper we must live a life of love and selflessness. Love always believes the best of every person. Love always puts others before itself. Love always keeps its word because love is of God.

God promised us that He would Redeem man by sending His only Son to die for our sins…………and He did just what He said He would do.

God promised that He would never leave us nor forsake us……….and He never has and He never will.

God promised that He would one day send Jesus back to get His church……………………and He will.

God is a promise keeper.God does not just say things to gain our friendship or favor. He is faithful to His word. God has never spoken an idle word, He will always be true to you, and He cannot lie. God is a promise keeper, so whatever He has told you that He will do in your life, He will keep His promise……….always.

We are God’s children if we are born-again. We should look like our Father in every way. If you grow up in a home with a mother and father present the children begin to mimick their parents. The begin to talk like them and walk like them and think like them and act like them. We are born of God therefore we should look like Him and act like Him. God has never done or said anything that He would not want us to hear or see. He has always provided for us an example of excellence and holiness. He has always exemplied purity and self-control. He has always given us an example of faithfulness and honesty. We have never seen Him cheating or wrongly treating anyone. He has never spoken a vain, slanderous or corrupt word. His words are always pure. We have the best example to follow in our Father. He is my hero.

We too can be like our Father in being a promise keeper. I am honored to look just like my Heavenly DAD!

Numbers 23:19

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Be Alert to What You Hear

Luke 9:44 Jesus said: ” Let these sayings sink down into your ears…

Are you listening? God has many things to say to you. The words that God speak are what we live by. Man was created by God and designed to live by every word that proceeds out of His mouth. His words are vital to our very existence. Jesus said let these sayings sink down, inferring there can be a shallow form of hearing. We hear but don’t hear, we hear and don’t understand what we hear and the words just become mere casual conversation. We must put a greater value on the words that God speak than any other words spoken to us, regardless at whatever time in our life they were spoken, no matter who else it was that said it. God’s word is spirit and it is life. It is not just something we can casually choose to ignore, without experiencing grave consequences. If God said His word is life to me and health to all my flesh, and that it is the very substance of my life, then for me to not partake of it would mean death and destruction. Oh yes, it’s that important. Jesus said let these words, meaning we can control how deep the Word penetrates our life. We can stop it’s progress when we don’t honor it, esteeming other things and words over it. When we place more importance on what somebody else is saying. Proper spiritual growth and development depends on what takes root in your life. The sayings that sink down deep are the ones we allow to guide and influence our everyday life. Critical decisions that we make daily, decisions that not only effect our lives but the lives of others, are all based on the things that we have allowed to sink down deep in our hearing. Be more selective and protective of the words you allow to go to the deeper parts of your being.

And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure (of thought and study) you give (to the truth you hear) will be the measure (of virtue and knowledge) that comes back to you and more (besides) will be given to you who hear. Mark 4:24 (amp)

An Excellent Spirit

Daniel 5:12

Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.

In today’s society sloppy, mediocre living is so very acceptable. However, we (Christian’s) are in this world but not of this world, we are from a far greater kingdom.

Daniel was a man in who was found an excellent spirit. He served God with pure motives and genuine devotion. He was a man of courage and passion. He did not allow society to dictate his life. Daniel proved his loyalty to the one and only true God. He did not compromise just to be accepted in this world’s system. He lived a life worth of praise though he never received man’s praise for his inward qualities.

Daniel lived and displayed a lifestyle of honor. Excellence speaks of integrity. It is a priceless virtue that cannot be faked. An excellent spirit shuns mediocrity and laughs at defeat. It bows its knee only to the one True God who is worthy. Excellence knows no fear. It is humble, never driven by foolish pride or earthly cheer. A person who possesses an excellent spirit governs their life by the standard of the Word of God. They think like God and always endeavor to please Him. They do not fill their spirit and soul with the filthy conversation of the world; they keep themselves unspotted from the evil influences of the world. They are stalwart and unmovable in what they believe and refuse to bend at every wind of persecution and adversity. They say no to laziness and slack, they march forward never looking back. An excellent spirit is never dishonest but rather always trustworthy.

A person who is of an excellent spirit does not gossip or complain; they shun vanity and crucify shame. They walk in the fear of the Lord and in His name they conquer every enemy far and near. They are strong and obedient to their God who is supreme; they give up everything in honor of their King.

An excellent spirit cannot be inherited from our earthly bloodline nor acquired in a dream; it is imparted to us freely when we receive the nature of God. However, we must be willing to cultivate and practice it, to help it grow.

Excellent defined:

• The quality or state of being outstanding and superior.

• A feature or respect in which somebody or something is superior and outstanding.

Remember the words of the Apostle Peter:

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

High Priority

1Thessalonians 5:17

Pray without ceasing

Prayer is the conduit that helps divine resources and supply pass from heaven to earth. God provided every believer with the ability to pray. The Holy Spirit will also assist us with kingdom communication. We must know how to properly dialogue in God’s kingdom. When you properly communicate with someone there is an exchange that takes place. Failure to communicate with our Heavenly Father is deadly.

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4

We have been granted access to the very throne of God. God said COME BOLDLY. (Hebrews 4:16)

Talking with God throughout your day is vital and must never be taken for granted or seen as trivial. Remember your union and fellowship with Him should be the highest priority of the day, even if you have to put others on the line on hold.

Pray without ceasing!

Keep on Stepping

Psalms 37:23-24

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

A step is a short movement made by raising one foot and lowering it ahead of the other foot. Putting one foot in front of the other is the safest way to go forward. When our stride is off or out of sync we are at risk of stumbling and eventually falling. We need harmony in our steps even if it seems like we are not moving very fast or going far. We need to always make sure that one foot is securely down before we raise the other foot. The above scripture says the steps not just one step but many, indicating a particular manner of walking, not running, skipping or jumping. Those other forms of movement are not forbidden in and of themselves but one must learn to walk before he can run. Allow God to order and arrange your steps and watch your life prosper and be a delight along the way.

The Perfect Fruit

God is expecting much fruit from our lives. He has imparted love into our hearts and love is saturated with life producing soil. Love is the perfect medium for good fruit to grow, thrive and multiply. Love will never produce evil things; hatred, strife, jealousy, insecurity, pride, bitterness etc. Love will never give birth to spiritual death and decay. Love will always produce fruit that will glorify God. Love will never go against the will of God. Love will always side with God no matter the latest popular opinion. Love will always offer up the most holy sacrifices and praise. Love will always honor God.

Love’s fruit is easily ingested without harmful side effects. God can trust the fruit that comes from love because it is a product of Himself. Love produces after it’s own kind. Love will never produce off-spring that looks like the world, flesh or devil.

Jesus said you will know a tree by the fruit it bears. Love leaves no question as to who it’s Father is. The fruit of love is genuine, never phony.

Jesus said God chose us to bear fruit that would remain. God has faith in love, He knows it will never compromise. Love will not settle for less than what God promised. Love will not negotiate with the enemy when the pressures of life come. God knows that what ever is produced from love will remain and it will be faithful to glorify Him forever. God knows Love’s fruit won’t turn sour and putrefy after a few years but will remain luscious and pleasing year after year after year.

LOVE BEARS THE PErFECT FRUIT!!!!

Make the Cook Smile!

Psalms 23:5

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

In the 23rd Psalms, the psalmist speaks of a table. It was not just any old table but a prepared table. When someone prepares something, they generally are expecting someone to show up or something to happen. The psalmist made it clear that the one who was doing the preparing was the Shepherd.

The word prepare is defined as; to take the necessary action to put something into a state where it is fit for use or action, or for a particular event or purpose.

It is very obvious to those who know the Lord and are familiar with His character and nature that He is not a haphazard God. God is very orderly and organized. God never just throws things together and hope it all works out alright. Everything God does has purpose, power, and passion. Therefore, when we think of a table that has been prepared by God, we must think and imagine on a higher level. We must consider who is preparing this table and the resources that they have to do what they are doing.

Now, there are people in this world who have lots of money and earthly resources but they don’t have the nature of God. God is an extravagant giver. He is not stingy nor is He greedy. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. God’s resources and supplies are unlimited; they are inexhaustible.

God is gracious and always looking for ways to bless and overflow people’s lives with abundance. God is Love and Love manifests itself through giving. God is never selfish; He is not trying to hoard things for Himself.

The scripture declares that the Shepherd prepares a table before you. Now, notice it doesn’t say “He prepares a table and sits you at the table”. No, it says “He prepares a table before you”. This could mean either that He is getting it ready as you are looking or that He put an already prepared table right in front of you.

In the natural, when you are expecting a guest for dinner, you prepare the table with your guest in mind. You particularly pay attention to what they like and also in love, what they need. The table that God prepares for us is right before us. It’s not hidden or covered…it’s right there. Now, He is putting this table in front of you so that you can benefit from what’s on it. But if you never go sit down and start partaking of its bounty, you will only be a spectator. We can shout about the table, dance about the table, tell other people how pretty the table is, yet never sit down and enjoy what’s on the table ourselves.

Whatever God puts on your table is for you. Because the Shepherd knows His sheep, your table is stacked just for you. When you sit down at your table, you will never need to look across the room to see if your neighbor got more or better things than you. The Good Shepherd will always provide lavishly for each and every sheep. There may even be something’s you see on your table that you may think surely the Shepherd has made a mistake this should be on so and so’s table not your table. But rest assured God knows exactly what He has put on your table. So don’t fret, just dig right in and start eating. Know that everything on that table is for you and that it is good.

Make sure that you don’t get distracted by your enemies that are standing around watching you partake from your table. Don’t let fear or intimidation stop you from eating. Don’t let guilt harass you into the sense realm. It will have you saying things like, “But I feel bad about prospering right in front of them and they are just standing there with nothing.” The enemy of guilt and shame will use manipulation and pity to try and make you get up from your table and serve them. God is no respecter of persons, if they are truly God’s sheep, the best thing you can do for them is to tell them to stop staring at you and go over to their own table and enjoy the things God has prepared for them.

Don’t wait for the people next to you to start eating before you start. Although that is a human courtesy, it has nothing to do with your spiritual supply. We honor God when we scoot up to the table and enjoy what he has placed before us. He has prepared and begin to dig in by faith and enjoy all that He has prepared.

There is nothing like seeing someone who is hungry set down at a table you have prepared for them and they just make themselves at home, enjoy every bite with a smile. These are those who don’t mind asking for second helpings and you always know they will be back because they were satisfied at the table. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good, you’ll always come back for more.

It makes the cook smile!
